Lab Alumni

Mahima Pandya, Graduate Student in Exercise Science

Project REMOTE, Spring 2021 – Fall 2022

Mahima helped us to run Project REMOTE – from participant recruitment, study material preparation, to data management! She also successfully obtained her Physical Therapy License while working in the lab! After graduating from UTA in Fall 2022, Mahima started practicing physical therapy in the Austin area. Way to go, Mahima!

Karen Black, Undergraduate Student in Spanish Translation and Interpreting

Project REMOTE & FitMe Study, Spring – Summer 2022

Karen helped us with the Spanish translation of study materials during her time in the lab. After working in the PAWS lab, she started a full-time internship with TransPerfect Translations in June 2022. Congratulations, Karen!

Khang Nguyen, Undergraduate Student in Computer Science

FitMe Study, Fall 2021

Khang investigated how to work with Fitbit API and helped us create various mockup screenshots for intervention feedback messages. Khang continues his research with the Wireless & Sensor Systems Laboratory at UTA. Keep up the good work, Khang!
