The goal of this project is to develop culturally-sensitive feedback messages based on real-time data from wearable devices such as Fitbit to promote an active lifestyle for Hispanic and non-Hispanic Black women of reproductive age. This study is funded by the Interdisciplinary Research Program at UTA.
Recruitment for this study ended in August 2022. We conducted a total of 9 virtual focus groups with 53 Hispanic and/or Black women. We are currently analyzing the results from these focus groups!
